In June 1972 some people from the committee, which was responsible for
the reelection of President Nixon, broke into
the headquaters of the Democrats. These people were caught and the police
found out, that the White House had something to do with this burglery.
As a consequence of this Nixon resigned from office to prevent impeachment.
