1960 John Fitzgerald Kennedy won the Democratic presidential nomination
at the Los Angeles Convention. From 1961-63 he was the first Roman Catholic
President . On November 22nd , 1963 President John Fitzgerald Kennedy was
shot and killed by a sniper in Dallas, Texas. Lyndon B. Johnson became
President at the same day.
